We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Shakitzma Ware to our Huguley Family.

Huguley is thrilled to announce our 2025-2026 Staff and Teacher of the Year. This year, students, staff and parents sent in their letters of recommendation for their candidate. A panel of judges (consisting of parents, students, and community members ) read all recommendations and scored them accordingly. This year we are excited to announce Mrs. Chelsea Crim as our Staff of the Year and Mrs. Beth Grant as our Teacher of the year. Congratulations to all nominees and winners.

October is National Principals Month, and Chambers County School District is thrilled to recognize and celebrate our outstanding principals! Their leadership, dedication, and caring hearts shape the very foundation of our school community.

We are deeply grateful for their commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where every student and staff member can thrive. Every day, our principals inspire excellence, nurture growth, and champion the needs of our schools.

Our fall festival is 2 days away. Please remember to turn in your grade level items. We still need lots 2 liters and items for our country store.

Here is our Red Ribbon Theme. Friday will be a costume competition. Please remember not to wear any masks or bring any toy weapons.

Please join us on Thursday, October 9 from 6:00-9:00 at the Skatin' Rink for Spirit Night! The Skatin' Rink is opening just for us and has a fun-filled night planned for HES friends and family. Be sure to grab a friend and go skate! A % of sales will be donated back to our school.

Huguley Community... who is ready for our annual fall festival? This year our PTO has worked extra hard to provide new games, better prizes and overall great experience. Go ahead and make plans to attend. October 23rd 5:30-8:00.
